Toya volcanic eruption memorial park : artificial lava channel. Mount Usu erupted four times since 1900: in 1910, 1944-45, August 7, 1977 and on March 31, 2000. The Eruption Memorial Park hosts the Toyako Volcano Science Museum and remnants of the 1977 volcanic eruption. The park was designed as a UNESCO Global Geopark in 2015. Toya-ko, Hokkaido, Japan, October 2010.
