Shirane shrine, Kakoiyama Park, Kusatsu, Gunma prefecture, Japan. Within the grounds of the Shrine, as well as monuments to writers Ikku Juppensha and Kotaro Takamura, there is the Rokkakusekido cenotaph, which evoke feelings of the religious faith of times gone by, and the monument to the Haiku poet Bashu Matsuo, erected by Kusatsu poet Chikuen Sakanoue.
